Reality prevails over fake dreams

Sometime I felt
you were there
Sometime I believed
you would be there
Sometime I thought
you were just behind me
Sometime I imagined
you were walking along with me

But finally I realized
you were never there
you never meant to be there
I was just walking alone
living with a false hope
immersed in a distant dream

Truth was scary initially
real life is soothing finally
